Heat exhaustion, heat stroke and dehydration are all common problems which can develop when travelling to warmer climates and the body temperature increases and is unable to cool itself properly.
Heat exhaustion can develop when we expose our bodies to several days of high temperatures and the body is unable to cool itself fast enough . Common warning signs of heat exhaustion are:
- Heavy sweating
- Paleness
- Muscle cramps
- Tiredness
- Weakness
- Dizziness
- Headaches
- Nausea or vomiting
- Fainting
If symptoms are not treated then it can lead to heat stroke. |
